My practice centers on the pocket-sized artifacts of everyday waste—discarded objects that function as traces of collective behavior. Through their collection and transformation, I construct narratives that uncover the contradictions of a society living in cognitive dissonance, where the pursuit of comfort, pleasure, and escape often relies on systems and habits that are ultimately self-destructive.
I approach my practice as a contemporary archaeologist, excavating the discarded traces of everyday life to uncover the values, desires, and contradictions embedded within them. Through the use of VR and immersive technologies, I create environments that invite viewers into close proximity with these narratives, transforming observation into participation. My goal is to foster experiences that linger beyond the moment—encouraging reflection, curiosity, and critical engagement with the culture that produced these artifacts.
